After School Centers
Our objective is to create a safe haven for kids within deprived communities that will allow kids to have access to computer technology. The Trevor
James Foundation is dedicated to establishing its After School Centers throughout the nation to make available the effective use of technology in the teaching/learning and creative process for students in the classroom and the community. The Trevor
James Foundation does not believe that a child should be denied access to a prosperous future in a digital economy because of a lack of
resources.
Summer Camp
The Trevor James Foundation's Summer
Camp is a nurturing, positive outdoor therapeutic program that specializes in helping troubled teens turn their lives around. Special emphasis is placed on helping teens develop appropriate coping, self-help, socialization and problem solving skills so long-lasting changes in attitudes and behaviors can be achieved.
Our outdoor therapy programs for troubled teens is located in a rural, natural environments free from congestion, noise, and old "buddies". The quiet, serene atmosphere helps troubled teens examine their behavior that has caused them problems, as well as offers a variety of therapeutic recreational activities. Therapeutic recreation such as challenge courses and adventure-based activities are highly effective, proven ways to enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning of troubled teens.
Scholarship Program
If our kids are going to succeed in life as complete adults, they must have a good education to be able to acquire new information throughout their lives, master new technologies, continually analyze new challenges and generate solutions. Our scholarship program is designed to provide support for deserving high school students who exemplify a strong potential for success.
